The 2010 Walk team from Itex in association with Planet Poker invite you to a fund raising event in aid of the Jersey Itex-Rotary Walk.

We are hosting an evening of Texas Hold Em poker at Planet Pool & Snooker, Wharf Street on Thursday 27th May 2010 starting at 6pm. Entry to this event will be £30 with a guaranteed £500 first prize, with further cash prizes for 2nd - 6th based on 60 players participating.

Each player will start with 2,000 chips. Unlimited rebuys of 2,000 chips for £10 will be available when you have 2,000 or less chips in the first hour. After the first hour all players will be offered a top up of 3,000 chips for £10. As tables become available, we will also run additional Turbo Sit‘n’Go tournaments. There will also be a raffle, with a top prize of a HP Compaq mini laptop (worth over £200). Further prizes to be confirmed.

Inline with our modernisation of the Walk registration system, and following the hugely successful introduction of Online Registrations we have produced an all new Walk website.

The purpose of the redevelopment is to greatly simplify the registration process, enrich the users (that's you) experience and provide a number of new pieces of functionality to improve the over all experience. The updated website employs a number of new technologies to provide simple to use, interactive pages.

The website makes use of AJAX technology to allow quicker browsing (by removing the need to reload some pages), a new level of interactivity for information on the walk route and an all new, easy to use photo gallery.
